THE FOREIGN NATIONALS VISITING INDIA FOR TOURISM

PURPOSE MUST APPLY FOR TOURIST VISA 6 MONTHS

MULTIPLE ENTRY ONLY                  

Please visit the Visas for India section for new instructions regarding the 

documents for the Business Visa application.

Please be informed that all the applicants who have acquired Italian nationality by naturalisation or who have dual nationality will be charged with telex fee related to the country of origin. 

Exception is for children below the age of 12 years.

Applicants going in India for Cruise MUST apply for TOURIST Visa

Pilots and Member of the Crew please visit Business Visa information.

Applicants going to India to partecipate in International Sports Tournaments have to apply for a Conference Visa and the application should be supported by the authority letter from the organisation along with a letter about clearance of the event from MHA.

Applicants going to India as Volunteers MUST NOT APPLY in any case for TOURIST VISA.

Please read carefully the section "Visa for India" to know the correct Visa. 

The Indian Visa Outsourcing Centre can receive the visa applications only for people RESIDENT in one of the following Northern Italian regions:

Valle d'Aosta, Piemonte, Liguria, Lombardia, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

Applicants are solely responsible for correct filling the online visa applications. They are advised to fill-up the application forms carefully.

 Please note that the photo pasted on the application form,

MUST be signed by the applicant and the signature must be done horizontally half on the photo and

half on the application form.

TOURIST VISA

Visa applications received with incorrect passport details or withholding of any other information, are liable to be rejected prior to acceptance of visa fees.

In such cases, applicants are required to upload a fresh online application 

Applications with any other annotation will not be accepted.

The Consulate General of India, Milan has decided to implement on-line visa applications.

The procedure will take effect from 1st December, 2011 on mixed issuance through old and new system and there will be gradual increase of accepting the visa applications using online new system up to 16th December, 2011. With effect from 19TH December, 2011, the Indian Visa Outsourcing Centre will no longer accept the hand written/ hand typed visa applications from this date onwards.

AND MAKE SURE TO SELECT OFFICE/MISSION:  ITALY-MILAN.

BY SELECTING ANY OTHER OFFICE OTHER THAN MILAN THE APPLICATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT THE INDIAN VISA OUTSOURCING CENTRE, MILAN.

For the online applications, all applicants are required to complete the application forms on- line and down load. Sign the application at the required places. Submit the application along with two photographs of size 50mm x 50mm (2”x2”), one pasted in the space provided in the application and the other stapled on the other side of the form

From 19th December, 2011 the existing application forms will be withdrawn from the website and also from the Indian Visa Outsourcing Centre. No hand written applications in the present version or in the previous versions will be accepted.

To facilitate the applicants, IVOC at Via Marostica, 34 has installed a coin operating vending machine to make the instant photographs as per the above specifications. Applicants can get 2 instant  photographs at nominal charges of 4 Euro.
